Becoming Fully Present in the Presence
Spiritual direction rooted in Christianity and shaped by Buddhist practice.
You may be here for a number of reasons:
-
To rejuvenate your prayer life or sense of God's presence
-
To strengthen your spiritual heart as you serve others
-
To explore other faith traditions and practices
-
To seek deeper connection while experiencing a major life transition
Spiritual direction is a gentle conversation in which we walk together, becoming more attentive to the sacred Presence within us and around us. Together we listen deeply, notice what is unfolding in your life, and discover practices that nurture greater freedom, compassion, and peace.
The best way to know whether spiritual direction is right for you is simply to have a conversation. Our introductory meeting is free, with no obligation. Many people leave our conversations with a greater sense of peace, clarity, and trust in the quiet movement of God within their lives.

Rooted in Christianity, shaped by Buddhist practice:
My journey began in the United Church of Christ, where I sought the presence of God, learned prayer, scripture, and service. Over time, Buddhist meditation revealed the same Presence I had always known—still, compassionate, and alive.
Over the years, silence, compassion, and presence have become the wellspring of my own spiritual life and of the way I accompany others. As a spiritual director, I invite you into practices that deepen awareness, compassion, and freedom.
I hold a Diploma in the Art of Spiritual Direction from San Francisco Theological Seminary and practiced Zen meditation for many years with Fr. Gregory Mayers at Mercy Center. Along the way, I’ve accompanied people from many backgrounds: church leaders seeking renewal, those in transition, long-time meditators exploring Christian prayer, and seekers with no tradition who long for deeper connection.
Above all, I cherish the still, spacious silence where the True Director leads—sometimes in stillness, sometimes in the dance of the heart.
